Gemini is a very capable general model. This guide replaces an earlier version that compared figures for a model that is no longer current; we removed those figures and kept only what we measured and what you can check yourself.

What we measured

In October 2026 we measured Lexiel with legal RAG on the 152 scorable questions of the July 2026 Spanish Bar Access Exam:

A multiple-choice exam can be passed with a strong general model. The value of a legal corpus shows not in the percentage but in each citation carrying its source so you can check it. Raw data is on the benchmark page.

What to check yourself

• Citations linked to the official source: open the BOE or CENDOJ and confirm the article or ruling exists and says what is cited. Lexiel checks citations against the BOE, CENDOJ and its corpus and flags those it cannot confirm.
• Currency of the text: check the consolidated version of the article on the BOE.
• Client data: before passing a file to any tool, review its data processing agreement (GDPR Art. 28). Lexiel stores data in the EU (Germany), anonymizes personal data before sending it to its AI providers (in the US, under Standard Contractual Clauses; list in the privacy policy) and does not train models on user data.
• Beyond chat: Lexiel includes legal CRM, case management, time tracking, invoicing and a client portal.
